Mathias Burghardt is a Senior Associate on the Insolvency and Restructuring team.

He advises on national and cross-border restructuring and insolvency law issues. Mathias Burghardt has many years of experience in providing guidance to financial institutions facing crisis, especially in regard to supervisory, stabilisation, restructuring and bankruptcy measures. He has a wealth of experience in handling complex bankruptcy and liquidation proceedings.

He also specialises in the area of banking and financial market law.

In these areas of the law, he can draw on his many years of experience at FINMA.
