Michael A. Schifferli

Associate

Michael Schifferli works as an Associate mainly in the Arbitration & Litigation and in the Private Clients practice groups. He advises clients in domestic and international business and commercial matters and represents them before state courts and arbitral tribunals. He also advises clients in inheritance matters and succession planning. Additionally, Michael Schifferli possesses specific knowledge of the Swiss law of associations.

For four years, Michael Schifferli coached the the University of Bern's student team at the annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, a prestigious moot court competition with over 350 participating universities from around the world. He continues his involvment with the Vis Moot as a volunteer arbitrator. Additionally, he is an active member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and sits on the board of various private associations in Switzerland.
