Michael A. Schifferli

Michael Schifferli is a Senior Associate working mainly in the Arbitration & Litigation and in the Private Clients practice groups. He advises clients in domestic and international business and commercial matters and represents them before state courts and arbitral tribunals. In addition, he acts as arbitrator and/or secretary to arbitral tribunals. In his Private Client practice, he advises clients in domestic and cross-border inheritance matters and succession planning. Additionally, Michael Schifferli possesses specific knowledge of the Swiss laws of associations and foundations.

Michael Schifferli is an active member of the Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), the German Institution for Arbitration (DISG) and their respective young practioner groups ASA below 40 and DIS40. In his areas of expertise, Michael regularly speaks and participates at seminars and conferences. He is actively engaged as a volunteer arbitrator in the Willem C. Vis Interternational Commercial Arbitration Moot and sits on various boards of associations in Switzerland.
