Through his work in litigation, he has gained an in-depth insight into complex bonus schemes.

Roland Bachmann is a Partner in the Litigation and Arbitration practice group and, as a Certified Specialist SBA Employment Law, is the point of contact for the Employment Law business group.

‘Roland Bachmann is an experienced and tough negotiator; he’s the kind of partner you want to work with. Fact based, well prepared and takes actions in the best of your interest before you even need to ask.’

‘Roland Bachmann is quick thinking, analytical and highly responsive. He is a very experienced, sharp employment lawyer and skilful litigator. He understands the balance between forceful defending of interests in court vs. negotiating an appropriate settlement.’

‘His integrity is impressive and I greatly appreciate that he always brings issues to the point in a way that is easy understandable for me. […] Moreover, he acts with instinctive certainty in negotiations while being respected and highly esteemed by all participants.’

‘It is important for me that a lawyer does not “only” think in purely legal terms and always has an entrepreneurial view of the solutions that go beyond the ring gear.’

‘It is a pleasure to work with Dr. Bachmann and his team and I am glad to recommend Wenger Plattner to others.’

Newsletter 2/19: Competition from employees ceasing to work for an employer – prevention and safeguarding interests
When an employee ceases to work for an employer, loyalty to his employer is put to the test. There is a great temptation to solicit the former employer’s clients for personal gain and to exploit manufacturing or other trade secrets for the employee’s personal benefit or the benefit of a competing business. This newsletter shows how companies can prevent this and how they can defend themselves against prohibited conduct by employees who no longer work for them.
